Wholesome Sweeteners Organic raw blue agave 23.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 6)

Tastes Great4

This tastes great I love it in my coffee and have even used it for pancakes. It really doesn't give me a spike in blood sugar as promised. The only negative is the packaging they are using. During shipping some of the seals underneath the lids came off and the bottles leaked. I probably lost about a tablespoon (each) from 3 of the 6 bottles. The lids don't really fit the bottles either. They have a pop-top but if you use it the syrup sometimes leakes out from under the lid where it attaches to the bottle. If they could fix the bottles this would definitely be a five-star product.

**Update** The product was not available for a few months and when it came back--NEW PACKAGING!! My last shipment was sealed up tight. Five Stars for sure but Amazon won't let me change that part.More detail ...

Depends what you use it for4

This stuff is a pretty good sugar substitute but it really depends on what you use it for.

If you are planning on using it in baked goods I'd suggest that you not. The "sugar" has a slightly cooling effect when you taste it (it's hard to explain). I tried to make cookies with it just to see how they would turn out and they had that weird sensationy taste to them.

This "sensation" (taste isn't the right word) is not very noticeable if you use it in small amounts such as on cereal on fruit in smoothies (AMAZING)...and I'd imagine in coffee (I don't drink it so I don't know).

Organic Zero is sweet and for the most part it tastes--and even looks--like sugar (it's basically a sugar alcohol). Again I would recommend it in small quantities but not for baking purposes.

$20ish dollars is an EXTREMELY good price for two packages. I bought some at my local co-op and ended up paying about $15 for one bag.

If you're into artificial sweetners I'd say it's worth a try--it doesn't have scary things related to it like aspartame and nutrisweet do.

Love this stuff - best of the brands I've tried5

Of the several brands of agave nectar that I have tried this one is by far the best. It has the least "taste" to it - it is just sweet (very similar to simple syrup that you would make with sugar and water).More detail ...

Amazing flavor!5

Anyone with or WITHOUT insulin issues should use this in place of table sugar or artificial sugars! It taste like a good maple syrup with half the calories and a very low glycemic load. I use this in my hot tea over fresh fruit in baking recipes etc. It has endless possibilities.

As for price you cannot beat the price here on Amazon! I order this two pack for the price of 8 bottles at Whole Foods. Try a smaller bottle from WF and if you like it come back here to Amazon to save BIG.More detail ...
